Five 2023 interior design trends that are here to stay

1.       Terrazzo surfaces

Terrazzo has never really been out of style. It’s a versatile material, which was traditionally used on floors, but over the years has made its way into anything from home décor to worktops. Our tip is to go with a neutral palette that will serve as the perfect backdrop for trendier pieces, which can be easily updated over time.

2.       Spotlight on the basin

Call us impartial, but if there is one bathroom design element that can bring a touch of drama in any bathroom, whatever its size, that would be the basin. From grand pedestal basins, to innovative designs (Hello there, BRAGGA!) and custom sinks that turn awkward spaces into focal points, the options are endless.

3.       Multifunctional spaces

We’ve spoken about that before – as our lives and schedules get more and more demanding, so do our expectations of the space we call home. We’re excited to see what 2023 brings in that area.

4.       Designer utility spaces

Gone are the days when the utility room was an afterthought. With so many practical design solutions it is no surprise the utility space is getting a makeover and we love it!

5.       Emphasis on wellness

Probably the most important of all trends. An interior design with emphasis on wellness will promote well-being by taking into consideration not only the space and its function, but also the individual who will be occupying the space and their mental and physical health requirements.
